The Cambodia Town Film Festival (CTFF) will take place September 14-15th at the Art Theatre of Long Beach, with a special screening of Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide at 6:30pm on Sunday, September 15th. Inspired by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn’s groundbreaking book, Half the Sky takes on the central moral challenge of the 21st century: the oppression of women and girls worldwide.
Take an unforgettable journey with Meg Ryan and New York Times journalist, Nicholas Kristof as they meet Somaly Mam and the women and girls whose lives she has forever changed.
